Hubbell to Buy DMC Power From Golden Gate Capital for $825 Million
Hubbell has signed a deal to buy DMC Power, a maker of connector technology systems for high-voltage power infrastructure, from private-equity firm Golden Gate Capital for $825 million in cash.
Hubbell on Tuesday said DMC, which has more than 350 employees and manufacturing plants in California and Mississippi, expects revenue of about $130 million in 2026.
Hubbell, a Shelton, Conn., utility and electrical solutions provider, posted sales of nearly $2.85 billion for the first six months of 2025.
The company said it plans to finance the transaction with cash on hand and debt, adding that it expects to complete the acquisition by the end of the year.
